ah what ever, over with the supposed crap.
funny things happen today.
first was the story of how melanie managed to get to school on time,
despite leaving her house UBER late.
ahem~
with her hands full, she flagged a cab with her leg.
as she got into the cab, she banged it hard on the door frame.
and amazingly, she reached school abit late.
the amazing thing was that melanie slipped!
she was ducking under the masking tape
that blocked off the toilet area, and nearing the stairs,
she slipped as she was getting up!
LOLS.

on a happy note,
aidah's back in school today!
she was on MC for cracking her foot when she missed a step.
was delighted to see her.
WOOTS!

okay, school was, normal.
the usual trying not to doze off during tuts,
budget maggie mee lunches,
hanging in iLaw,
teasing around,
completing projects,
doing our tuts.
frankly, i missed this life while at home.
not to the extent of being desperate to race back to school,
but well, at least smiling when i'm stepping through the gates of school.
it's not the tuts that make me excited,
but the fact that i get to work my mind over something,
and not let it rust at home.
it's challenging to be reading stuff like case reports.
and i like it.

i've spent my holidays, well, like non-holidays.
if i actually counted,
i was only at home for three-four days in the fourteen day break.
that's like, 2/7th of my holidays.
most of it was on projects,
some of it was fun trips,
like the Zoo and Night Safari!
i love the place~
photos will be up, probably in the next post i guess.
the zoo was fun, rather expected,
but fun, nonetheless.
the NS however, was the pinnacle of the trip.
the fire breathing show got us cheering like love sick groupies,
and i didn't mind it at all!
we even took pictures with an owl and a snake.
how cool is that?
the creatures of the night show was as expected, tourisy and loud.
but i loved it all.
it's fun to be actually treated like a tourist for once.
they treat locals with familiarity, no mistake,
but once the familiarity creeps on,
one tends to forget that
the line that seperates the ones that are serving
and the ones that are being served
is still there, just that it is invisible.
snobbish it may sound, but it's true.
compare the service of the staff at the airport,
take the reception centre for an example.
there, they answer every question with a smile and seemingly infinite patience.
but a reception cantre in a mall may just give you
a stare and an impatient tut if you ask a question too much,
in their opinion of course.
ohoh. digressed.
it was nice to feel like a tourist knowing nothing about singapore for once.
the tram was wonderful,
therapy to an extent.
and so was the hike.
the cool night air made everything even more perfect.

so many things have taken place
in the time that has passed.
some good, some bad.
ups and downs,
but we have to take it in our stride.
some moments were crushing to me,
but from it, i've learnt more.
nothing is forever,
that i know.
so treasure what you have now and create perfect memories
before they're gone too fast to catch.

yes, i know. MORBID.
but it's the poet and emo in me, LOLS.
it's called a muse,
WOOTS.
and she's returned from her 8 month long holiday.
i guess she was lost somewhere in Bora Bora.
LOLS.
okay, it's close to one, and i'm not sleepy.
i haven't read the crim law book and
i swore i would get at least a chapter down.
but, as life goes, it never comes true.
LOLS.
ah well.

i think today has been rather nice.
iLaw has proven to be one of my favourite places again.
laughed lots there.
laughing-something that gets increasing lesser as we grow older.
seinors there are great,
ferhan, hend, nas, aidah, everybody(:

okay, apparently, my army of muses have decided to abandon me now.
