had a fun time todayyesterday.
went with michelle, zhelin and ngkk to ehub to watch quantum of solace.
it was damn nice.
i know i have some friends who don't really care for james bond,
but well,
each person to his/her own.
met up with girlfriends at TM,
and went for lunch at BK.
zhelin met some sportsculb peeps from SP.
DB peeps to be exact.
freaking DB guys, with their freaking tans and buldging muscles.
commented on their shirt,
and how TP has hotter guys.
then our convo swerved to how how people are usally found in engineering school.
have to kind of agree.
especially since i've seen some SP maritime guys,
and compared several engine guys to other school guys.
seriously. DROOL.
right. okay. ignore all of that.

i swore the guys were eavesdropping on our convo lah.
they were sitting behind us and when we mentioned engineering guys,
they were silent.
or so michelle said.
whatttttttever lah.

right. then we bid goodbye to the guys,
actually it was zhelin who said goodbye,
michelle and i just smiled.
and headed off to jalan a bit since we were still early to meet ngkk at ehub.
there was some kind of road show for shop and save in CS,
some grabbing money thing.
hightailed out of there ASAP.

headed to ehub early to scout out dinner place and
in the end got stuck at the arcade,
playing the new rambo game.
ngkk appeared and we went to get our snacks and stuff.
went through the movie.
enjoyed it, and laughed/cursed/stared wide-eyed
at the scenes.
[SPOILERS]
i personally like this movie the best,
cause it still shows the sentimental side of bond,
not the completely cold-hearted, womanizer, man-whore bond.
he still loves vesper,
and no matter how much he denies it,
he's out to seek revenge for her,
"some one dear to him".
it's heart wrenching to see the last scene,
him throwing vesper's necklace in the snow.
that's where he becomes the ultimate man-whore of all.
it's saddening actually,
cause under all that womanizing exterior,
he's still quite the british gentleman.
i did like the fighting scenes between bond and others.
it's hard to see someone crying so emotionally in casino royale
simply stab the neck of his opponent and watch him die without
so much as a flicker of feeling on his face.
scary, it is.
my heart wrenched for bond for a moment when,
in one of the first few scenes,
M shows him a file on vesper.
he says he doesn't care, but secretly,
he steals one of the pictures with vesper and her former boyfriend
and keeps it with him.
then in another scene, he takes it out and looks at it with such a saddened
look in his eyes, it makes you want to go over and give him a hug.
he shows his tender side when his ally, Mathis dies in his arms.
then dumps his dead cold body in a dumpster.
seriously, my impression of him took a nosedive off the face of Everest
that very moment.
i do like his cool exterior.
it make me smile, that way he smoothly maneuvers through everything.
he has seriously smooth moves, seriously.
and dumb pick up lines.
"i can't seem to find... the stationery. would you come in to help me look for it?"
seriously?
ohohoh, and the computers at MI6 rock my socks.
i'm so gonna buy those kind of technology when it comes out,
provided i'm working and earning big bucks of course.
and the best thing?
NO SEX SCENES WITH THE MAIN BOND GIRL!
yes, there was the fact that bond bedded ms strawberry fields,

went up to dinner after the movie.

zhelin was scared when we reached the top
and was grabbing on to the bar in the middle of the little capsule thingy.
laughed my ass off.
went two rounds, then we sadly got off.
walked to WS, where we went to the arcade.
had fun pretending to be a sniper.
by goddamn the scope.
made me lose twice.
TWICE!
then went to play the basketball machine.
hey, i'm quite good at it, i must admit.
nearly went pass the second stage, if not for MRNGKK.
who's interference made me miss the mark by TWO freaking points.
DAMN IT.
stayed there until 9, then we decided to leave,
seeing as we all needed to go back to school tomorrow
later today.

managed to complete my crim law,
without skipping alot of questions.
YAY!
alright. i'm supposed to be packing then sleeping.
but as we all know,
wei qi always packs 15 minutes before she leaves the house.
so yah. maybe i'll just arrange my file, then i'll snooze.

we celebrated derence's birthday on halloween.
jane, emi, melanie and i rushed to four leaf to get him a
sinful chocolate cake.
surprised him during during micro.
results were not expected.
in the end, we re-surprised him later after lessons in iLaw.
something damn funny happened lah.
we lit the candles in iLaw and after derence blew out the candles,
we realised something.
there was smoke from the candles.
and smoke usually triggers
SPRINKLERS.
we saw something on the celing blinking red and we panicked.
we were competely screaming and panicking,
going "ZHAO ARH! ZHAO ARH! NA BAG SIAM ARH!"
technically meaning run arh, run arh, take bag hide arh.
so we grabbed our stuff and we ran, but in the end,
nothing really happened.
so we got back and enjoyed the cake.

ended up sleeping then watching sound of music.

thursday was back to training.
gam gam ho,
our board was shifted to 30m.
so we had to watch as our arrows flew all over the place.
heart pain leh. 112 bucks man.
acheived my all time lowest score.

after two trainings of 30, i only have one thign to say.

okay.
so after training was jinglun's BBQ.
rushed home to shower and change
then headed to heartland mall to help serkiat and jingru with the shopping.
headed to jinglun's condo after that,
only to find the BBQ pit wet beyond words.
it was raining, damnnit.
worked out a way and went up to help jinglun bring the stuff down.
apparently some one was playing with the lift and it was going
crazy.
BUT, i guess it was fixed or so,
cause it worked fine when we were there.
right brought down the friend rice and the punch and the drinks.
kind of fought over the punch,
cause let me tell you,
the guy makes damn nice punch.
waited for the rest to come, then when BC and Lao Da came,
they set up the BBQ.
had a competition on fire starting.
i have a video of that somewhere, if i can dig it out.
had tons of great fun,
managed to get tons of great photos.
wait. who am i supposed to send them to again?
i always forget.
was duly irritated by weiching on the bus ride home with
serkiat, jingru, vannchua and yangshen.
he was trying to come up with a christian name for me,
and well, let's say, in the future,
he better let his wife name his kids.
i've gotta warn vannho about him.

got home quite late, and surprisingly,
not buzzed, considering the amount of jimbean and bacardi i consumed.
